| Joe Waggoner 2008 Knight of the Roundtable
Joe Waggoner has been involved in the Tennessee tourism industry for over 30 years. He began his tourism career as the General Manager of The Lost Sea, a natural attraction in Sweetwater, Tennessee. He then served as the General Manager of Christus Gardens in Gatlinburg, one of the areas oldest and best-known attractions. He served in that capacity until the closure of the attraction in 2008. Joe has served the industry in a variety of ways over the years, and has been involved in the Middle East Tennessee Tourism Council, the Southeast Tourism Society, and the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce. He was one of the founding members of the Tennessee Tourism Roundtable, and has served the organization faithfully as both a Board member and an officer. TTR is proud to recognize and honor Joe for his many years of dedication to the Tennessee tourism industry by naming him the 2008 Knight of the Roundtable.

| Scott Templeton 2008 Gladiator for Tourism
Scott Templeton is the Southeast U.S. Publisher & National Sales Director for Miles Media, which produces the official Tennessee Vacation Guide. Scott has more than 20 years of travel marketing experience which he has brought to bear in helping sell Tennessee as the destination of choice for travelers. He has demonstrated his commitment to the Tennessee tourism industry and to TTR through his service on the TTR Board of Directors and on the organization's Education & Professional Development Committee. Scott is a strong advocate for tourism education, and under Scott's leadership, Miles Media has become the annual underwriting partner for TTR's Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional (CTTP) program, and is an annual sponsor of the Tennessee Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus' professional development conference. TTR is proud to honor Scott for his outstanding contributions of leadership and service to the Tennessee tourism industry by naming him the 2008 Gladiator for Tourism.
