| Nine tourism industry professionals from across the state participated in the 2008 Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional College held March 18-20 at Montgomery Bell State Park.
Attendees were guided through classroom instruction, practical application exercises, and group discussions in the College's three primary focus areas: Tourism Leadership, Tourism Marketing, and Tourism Research. In addition, a new section on "Strategic Issues in Tourism" was added to the curriculum this year.

Following successful completion of their CTTP examination and applied principles project, these individuals will receive their CTTP Certification during the Governor's Luncheon at the 2008 Tennessee Governor's Conference on Tourism, September 24-26 in Gatlinburg.
