2009 CTTP College Information

September 15 - 16, 2009
(In conjunction with the 2009 Governor's Conference on Tourism)

Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center, Murfreesboro

For the first time ever, the Certified Tennessee Tourism Professional (CTTP) College will be offered in conjunction with the Tennessee Governor's Conference on Tourism.  This will allow the College to have access to a much broader faculty base and greatly reduce both travel and CTTP program fee expenses for participants.

The CTTP College will begin at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, and participants will have twelve hours of classroom instruction prior to the beginning of the Conference on Wednesday, September 16.  They will continue with their studies through required attendance at specific workshops and seminars offered during the Governor's Conference.  CTTP testing will take place on Thursday, September 17, and certifications will be awarded during the Governor's Luncheon on Friday, September 18.

Who Should Attend?

* Tourism professionals with experience seeking the CTTP certification
* Former graduates of the CTTP program
* Anyone new in tourism management & marketing wishing to learn skills that will help them with their responsibilities

CTTP Certification

Participants meeting the CTTP work experience requirement of 3 years in tourism management and the required elective   points may qualify for the CTTP Certification upon completion of the CTTP College and passing the CTTP exam.

Registration includes all CTTP sessions and materials, dinner on September 15, breakfast on September 16, the CTTP exam, as well as full registration for all the activities, programs, meal functions and receptions of the Governor's Conference on Tourism, September 16 - 18.

CTTP College Tuition/Conference Registration payment may be made by check or credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA).  Payment information is included on the Combined CTTP College and Governor's Conference Registration Form  (this is a hard-copy registration form which must be completed and returned by mail to the TTR Office; on-line registration is NOT available for this combined tuition/registration.)
